The Forth Railway Bridge: The Red Monster.
It was never going to be easy climbing the Forth Rail Bridge, the usual hazards are always there, trains is an obvious one, the actual hand over fist climb is not far behind and getting caught is a big one. But on this freezing december night in northen Scotland as my train pulled away from Edinburgh... it started to snow. I was about to climb the fourth bridge against the full fury of the North Sea and to top it off, I was going to do it solo.
I will never forget grabing onto that freezing steel and starting the long climb to the top - for the next four hours I was swallowed by the red monster. It is a story too long to tell here, a story like many that I should sit down and tell one day. But for now, just enjoy the picture. This was taken from the top of the northen most tower. Shout out to Siologen.
From an artist point of view I know this photo is not strong, but the location more than makes up for it... right?
Thank you Forth, I am honoured.
Get like a supermodel and hit the keys hard, we want to read this shit!

Pictures are merely a souvenir of those adventures we dive ourselves in, they come and go, but not our memories.

solo.... winter... snow... very gutsy, very determined... very risky. I like this.
You're right it was worth it. Personally I like these "kleig lights" blowing out your lens and sensor. Very powerful.
