Bad ass motherfuckers at the bad ass abandoned ferris wheel in Pripyat, Ukraine.

One interesting thing I noticed about this ferris wheel is that there is no motor. Then I started looking around town and I realized that there was no copper cabling in any of the buildings. Presumably these things were in place before the nuclear accident at Chernobyl, so I can only conclude that a few Ukrainian handshakes took place and the guards allowed the scrapping of anything of value... no matter how radioactive.

I'll bet you 50 bucks that that motor is out there somewhere in the Ukraine powering a ride for children right now.
