London has some mad drains. This one had junctions, rooms, giant overflows, automatic diversion gates, stairs, columns, handrails(!), traps, bridges and rats of course.

Its construction ranged from round brick, arched brick, balloon brick, concrete, stone and stainless steel. This city must have some cash.

It might have smelt bad and it may have given me the plague but damn, there is some cool stuff down here.
